I work at Officeworks Midland, in the stationery department doing nightfill replenishment and I joined the business six years ago in 2013.

I love the stability that Officeworks brings me, not only in the work I do, but also in the community.

My funniest memory of my time at Officeworks is when we were having a fire drill a few years ago. An employee somehow was still upstairs on the toilet the entire time. Thankfully we've learned from that and are now ensuring that everyone gets out in time!

What’s changed? We'll definitely the shelving at Midland is different since I started. We used to only have three big aisles and now we have 14! The other thing that does change is the employees, though no matter how much they change they always stay the same, as those we hire end up generally being the same fantastic personalities as everyone else.

I would say that despite what some may think, I find stocktake to be the highlight of my role, as well as the Christmas party. I enjoy seeing all the employees who I'd never see due to me being on in the evening.
