I have been with Officeworks for eight years and started when I was just 16 years old, it was my second job and has remained that way until this day!

I work at the Officeworks Elizabeth store in South Australia. And I love the store and the company. I love how much movement and freedom there is. Depending on what your interests are and how these change throughout the years, your role can change with that too. But also the people - the people that I have worked with over the years have made working here so enjoyable.

My best memory is definitely after completing stocktake, sitting down and being able to see all your team at once. That doesn’t happen too often!

In the past eight years there have been some changes - the technology that we use, along with the store layout and the range that we stock. The store has had so many refits since I first started. The store was laid out differently with the aisles facing vertically. We have also changed almost all of the systems we use and have developed newer systems that now I cannot even remember what the one old ones were!

My highlights always revolve around the Fuji (or what we once called Kodak) machines. Helping people print out wedding photos or birthday photos is something that I always find really special. The customers are always so appreciative as your helping their memories come alive.
