Who loves novelty T-shirts? Dads do! Giving him a personalised T-shirt for Father’s Day that immortalises a sweet drawing from a kid is something he’ll treasure for years to come.
To start this cute Father’s Day gift, get the kids to the table and hand out paper, pencils, crayons and markers. Have a chat to discuss what kind of pictures Dad, Grandad, Uncle or other Bestie might like and let them get to work. Big, simple, colourful shapes work well for this project. When their masterpieces are complete, take a photograph of the artworks and follow these steps for a personalised T-shirt.
Hot Tip: Get your clothing orders in by 18th August 2023 for this Father’s Day.
Step 1: Head to the Officeworks Print & Copy website, select Clothing Printing in the Print & Copy section, and choose T-shirt Printing for your gift for Dad (you can also create personalised polos, jumpers or hoodies). Pick your size and click ‘Create’.
Step 2: Select the ‘Upload Your Own’ template and then choose the colour of the T-shirt you’d like as your Father’s Day gift for Dad, though a plain white one works well for this project.
Hot Tip: You can also choose from a suite of already-designed tees if you’d prefer.
Step 3: Click on the blue box to upload your image. Make sure it has a resolution of 300dpi (dots per inch) or higher for the best results but note the maximum file size is 100MB. You’ll be able to check this in the image’s properties on your computer. The picture should then appear on your personalised T-shirt.
Step 4: Position and resize your image within the marked printable zone. Once you’re happy with how it looks, review your design and add it to cart (don’t forget to remove any default text from the template). Finish off payment and await the email to let you know it’s ready for collection or delivery. Simple!
