GoPro was founded in 2002 by surfer, skier and motorsports enthusiast Nick Woodman, who was trying to find a better way to film him and his friends surfing. The company started from a 35mm camera and a wrist strap modelled off old wetsuits and plastic scraps and has since grown into an international company that now produces heavy-duty cameras, apps and accessories built for adventure. GoPro believes that sharing you experiences and life as you live it makes it all the more fun.
