These Derwent Academy Watercolour Pencils combine the control of a standard pencil with the style of watercolour. They are made from natural, wooden barrels and high quality water-soluble pigments that blend and dissolve easily to create a wide spectrum of colours. The end of the pencil is dipped to match the colour of the pigment which allows for easy identification.
- These pencils can be used as ordinary pencils or as watercolours.
- These pencils are easy to sharpen and are break-resistant.
- They are designed with a hexagonal 6.9 mm barrel and a 3.3 mm core.
- The ends of these pencils have been dipped in the same colour as the pigment inside.
- The colours included are lemon, medium yellow, apricot, orange, orange yellow, pink, rose, dark red, sunset red, red, vermeil, violet, purple, sky blue, bright blue, sea blue, medium blue, cobalt blue, grass, light green, apple green, olive green, green, dark green, acid green, reddish brown, brown, clay yellow, dark brown, garnet red, coffee, dark coffee, tan, black, grey and white.
