This Art Spectrum Lean Medium can be used as an alternative to gum turpentine, preventing the break down of paint and to ensure permanency. It can also be used as it is to even out watercolour effects, clean pre-primed canvas panels and as a sealant for acrylic paints. This formula utilises a lean to fat rule, so you can use this medium first, giving you an even tension throughout your painting.
