Details

Custom-printed envelopes allow you to get a message across before your letter or card is even opened. You can choose between DL, DLX, C5 or C4 sizes, with an 80 gsm bond paper stock construction.

What size envelope do I need?

DL envelopes
These envelopes are designed to hold an A4 piece of paper folded into thirds. The DLX size has a little bit more room than the standard DL sized envelope. These are great for sending letters and with compliments slips.
DLX envelopes
These envelopes are designed to hold an A4 piece of paper folded into thirds. The DLX size has a little bit more room than the standard DL sized envelope. These are great for sending letters and with compliments slips.
C5 envelopes
These envelopes are designed to hold a A5 sheet unfolded, or an A4 sheet folded in half.
C4 envelopes
These envelopes will hold an A4 sheet without being folded.

What is the difference between self seal and peel & seal envelopes?

The self seal method of sealing has a strip of latex on each flap and is pressed together to form an instant bond. For peel and seal envelopes, peel away the release tape from the flap to reveal a strip of latex, then press down to form an instant bond.

Design Guidelines

Bleed size

This area will be cut off when your product is cut to size. Your design should extend all the way to the bleed size to ensure no unwanted white edges when the print is cut to size.

Trim size

This is the final size your print will be trimmed to when the excess bleed is removed and is the size you select when creating your product.

Safe margin size

This is to ensure you don't end up with text or important image content right on the edge of your print. Aim to keep important images and text inside the dotted safe area box.
